Kevin’s Go-Karting Fun

Kevin enjoyed a thrill seeking adventure weekend

Kevin was 24 when he was referred to us, Kevin was battling recurring Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Kevin wanted to go Go-karting with his girlfriend, Charlotte.  Kevin was quite poorly and tired easily so we decided to make a weekend of it!

So we sent Manor Bourne chauffeurs to collect them from their home in Liverpool and take them to Daytona Racing in Manchester.

Kevin and Charlotte then took to the track for an Exclusive race! Following the race they had some podium photos and then enjoyed some lunch in the on site café

Rik Latham, a local photographer kindly spent the day with them to capture all the fun!

After their race day, they were then taken to the beautiful Lowry Hotel where they checked in to their fabulous room.

That night we booked  a table in the hotels beautiful restaurant. Here they were waited on hand and foot and enjoyed some of the best food in Manchester!

The rest of the evening was spent in the delightful glass walled hotel taking in views of the River Irwell and looking out at the hustle and bustle of city life whilst they enjoyed a cocktail or two!

The next morning they had a delicious full English breakfast before being driven home.

Sadly Kevin passed away on August 25th 2016 aged 26 years old.

Charlotte recently said to us  “I miss him every day and I was so proud of him”  We know that the memories of the memory day that they shared give her comfort and happy memories to treasure forever.
